World-renowned Opera Singer, David Cangelosi, has traveled the globe over the past 35 years singing in the great opera houses and concert halls of the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America. A dedicated artist in the genres of opera, musical theater, rock/pop/night-club entertaining, as well as voice-over work, Mr. Cangelosi has had a wide and varied career. As a highly experienced vocal instructor, he relishes the opportunity to teach singers of all styles, and at all levels… especially those who might feel somewhat timid at first. He is particularly interested in assisting rock and pop artists to sing healthily and with stamina. “The joy of singing is often found in the learning; so why not learn what you love?”, says Cangelosi. “Singing is singing. It’s organic, and it’s fun!”
Vocal Instructor
Alexis Gabriel is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist originally from Madison, Wisconsin. She moved to Chicago to pursue music in 2009 and since then has appeared on records with and performed as a part of numerous local and touring acts throughout the US. Teaching since 2011, she was trained in the Suzuki method and specializes in ear training and implementing practices for sustaining vocal health and technique. Alexis believes anyone can learn to sing! Some of her favorite artists are Whitney Houston, Fleetwood Mac and The Strokes - she looks forward to hearing some of your favorites and working with students of any singing level!
