Played violin and flute when younger. Started going to rock/metal bands in high school and always admired those who could sing and play instruments. 6 years ago decided to try drum lessons and fell in love.

Living life as a musical, Jen bursts into song at a moment's notice - much to the delight and/or horror of those ambushed by the sound. Jen grew up singing in choirs and bands in her church days and throughout her school years.

I have been playing drums since 2018 and have loved every second of it! I have a very wide range of music that I enjoy, but my two favorite genres are punk/garage rock (specifically “angry girl music of the indie rock persuasion”) and 1970s soul/R&B/funk.

Growing up in a home filled with music, Tara (whose name fittingly means "melody" in Urdu) was singing before she could talk.

I started playing bass in 2022, learning through Zoom lessons and online tutorials. CSC has been a great way to get out of my "bedroom studio" and experience playing music with others! I love learning new music across genres and have a special place in my heart for jazz and funk.
