Music has always been at the center of my life. My journey began around the age of 8 when my parents got The Beatles ‘1’ CD, which I promptly listened to about 1,000 times before I hit 10 years old. I picked up a guitar for the first time at age 13 and never looked back.
My taste is all over the map. Bill Evans, Stevie Wonder, The Allman Brothers, Frank Ocean, Elliott Smith, Big Theif, Mdou Moctar, Rush, you name it. Basically everything other than Imagine Dragons…or anything by Coldplay after 2008…or anything by Maroon 5 after Songs About Jane.
